The “La Venaria Reale” Conservation and Restoration Center is a foundation for higher education and research in the field of cultural heritage conservation.

Established in 2005 by the will of the Ministry of Culture, the Piedmont Region, the Metropolitan City and the Municipality of Turin, the Municipality of Venaria Reale,

CRT Foundation, Compagnia di San Paolo Foundation and University of Turin, is located in the Reggia di Venaria Reale, a UNESCO heritage site. Here are the nine Restoration Laboratories, the Scientific Laboratories, the Higher Education School and the Educational Services, together with the single-cycle qualifying Master’s Degree Course in Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage, activated thanks to the agreement with the University of Turin.

The statutory mission is supported by a strategic development plan based on three axis: Internationalisation, Innovation and Culture. Since 2020 the center has organised the Young Professionals Forum Emerging Skills for Cultural Heritage, which has hundreds of members from over 60 countries around the world.
